Aircraft Overhaul Consultant – Clearfield, UT (Part-Time)
Opportunity Overview
At ES3 you can be certain that your daily work activities support the broader objectives of improving aviation performance / safety, reducing the environmental impact of aviation, and improving the safety and work conditions for aviation workers.
ES3 offers a rewarding part-time opportunity for an experienced overhaul and repair consultant with documented professional knowledge of overhaul and repair best practices of all models of the F-16 Horizontal Stabilizer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Accomplish all necessary processes and operations as outlined in the overhaul technical manuals with minimal oversight.
- Expertly use required tooling with complete understanding and capability to accomplish all required modifications.
- Read and understand Lockheed drawings and process specifications as related to the Horizontal Stabilizer.
Capabilities
- Working knowledge and capable of reading/understanding Air Force Technical Orders (TO’s) as related to the horizontal Stabilizer.
- Able to work closely with other Technicians and Engineering staff members.
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint for report
Education & Experience Benchmarks
- High School diploma
- 5 plus years of “hands on” experience overhauling and repairing all models of the F-16 Horizontal Stabilizer.
Additional Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- The ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Contractor Access Card (CAC)
Travel Requirements
- May require CONUS and OCONUS travel to advise and assist technicians in performing depot level F-16 repairs.
